 Maryland Fire Equipment Corporation’s Personal Protective Equipment
Center has been in operation for over 20 years and offers complete sale,
inspection, cleaning, repair, alterations, and customization solutions for all of
your Personal Protective Equipment. (PPE)
Maryland Fire Equipment Corporation is recognized by major turnout gear manufacturers and is the
Authorized Cleaning and Repair Center for Globe Firefighter Suits. Maryland Fire Equipment Corporation
is the first repair center to be verified by Intertek Testing Services (ITS) to repair Crosstech® moisture barriers
and has been licensed to repair GoreTex® since the early 1990’s. Our factory trained sewing technicians can
repair or modify your gear to manufacturer specifications that meet NFPA standards.
We understand that the health and safety of fire fighters is a major concern for every department.
Liability is also a concern, and can be reduced with proper cleaning, repair, maintenance and
record keeping of every set of PPE.
 Maryland Fire offers a 1 to 3 day turnaround time for PPE that requires cleaning only. Our PPE
Center can also provide Haz-Mat Decontamination and Disinfections cleaning. If your PPE requires
repair, you can expect turnaround in 3 to 5 days. Since we provide alteration and repair services to
manufacturers, you can be confident that your PPE is repaired properly.
We provide free pickup and delivery for customers within a 50-mile radius of our Rockville location, UPS shipping and delivery service
are also available, or you are invited to visit our Rockville, MD center.
